I will be back in a moment to be the ‘voice’ of the Doll, - as you’ve seen already - and well, pretty much anyone who’s experienced of this type of obsession. The ‘Everywoman,’ if you will.
And over here, we have the maker of the Doll, Hermine Moos.

Her life, unfortunately, was not as well documented as Alma’s. She was a professional puppet and doll maker - important enough, that her photo was included in a book of artists of the time, including Kandinsky and other significant figures - an exhibiting artist in her own right, and friends with the avant-garde artist Lotte Pritzel. It was through Pritzel that she was introduced to Oskar, who chose her to create his ‘dream woman.’ In this scene, we find her puzzling over Kokoschka’s extremely detailed request:
